How Chertsey Primary School is inspiring excellence
A confident start to Kindergarten
Our weekly Playgroup program gives children starting Kindergarten in 2027 the chance to meet future classmates, build relationships with staff and become familiar with the school environment. Literacy and numeracy learning is embedded through play, helping children build early skills while families become part of the Chertsey community.

At Chertsey Primary School, we get to know each child as an individual. Our dedicated teachers and Learning and Support staff collaborate closely with families to understand every student’s strengths, interests, and needs. This personalised approach enables us to support their wellbeing and build their confidence.
Inclusion is part of everyday school life
We provide every child the opportunity to learn AUSLAN and experience the joy of communicating in different ways. We foster a welcoming and inclusive environment where all students participate in weekly AUSLAN lessons and can join our vibrant Singing Choir. This is a wonderful way for children to build confidence and celebrate inclusion.
