ANZAC Day Service

ANZAC Day Service

ANZAC Day is commemorated every year on the 25th of April. On that day we remember all the brave soldiers, sailors, airmen and women and nurses who fought in wars or helped support those who did. We will be holding our 2021 ANZAC Day assembly in the school hall on Monday, 26th April, at 10am. The Assembly is a very solemn and moving occasion and it would be lovely if you were able to join us on the day. We will have several special guests attending. After the assembly, our school leaders will escort our guests around the school to visit classrooms and speak with our students. As part of our assembly, we will be laying flower wreaths to pay our respects. We are asking that every student brings a flower to school on Monday, 26th April to be made into a wreath by our staff. Students will also be creating wreaths in class to lay at our assembly. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s classroom teacher. We hope to see you at our ANZAC Day assembly in the school hall at 10am on Monday, 26th April.
